Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Program Financial Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) under contract. This role provides leadership across 70 DIR agencies, overseeing invoicing, chargebacks, procurement financials, pricing models, and reporting.

On-site presence in the Austin, TX area is required. The candidate should have extensive government contracting financial experience, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to work closely with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience; may have supervisory or lead experience.
• 8+ years of financial management on large government IT contracts (>$50M/yr).
• Experience with chargeback billing models in government environments.
• Experience with government cost accounting, invoicing, and contract financial compliance.
• Experience with IT financial management platforms, including Digital Fuel.
• Experience managing software/hardware procurement financial activities at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of government contract financial operations.
• Experience managing complex billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability for financial operations across the Texas Private Cloud contract.
• Manage monthly invoicing and chargeback across 70+ DIR agencies.
• Lead billing dispute resolution and reconciliation with DIR and agencies.
• Oversee SSC/HSC procurement financial management.
• Manage contract pricing models and financial reporting to DIR.
• Ensure contract financial compliance with state procurement requirements.
• Lead budget forecasting and financial planning.
• Provide financial performance optimization reporting.
• Monitor trends, risks and opportunities across the contract.
• Coordinate reconciliations with DIR and agencies.
• Support accurate invoicing and chargeback operations.
• Provide financial analysis to contract leadership and government stakeholders.
