Peraton is hiring a Program Financial Manager to support the Texas DIR under contract. The role provides contract-wide financial leadership across 70+ DIR agencies, overseeing invoicing, chargebacks, pricing models, reporting, forecasting, and compliance.

Based on the DIR program, the position requires on-site presence in the Austin, TX area with relocation as needed. The candidate should have extensive government contracting experience and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in financial management on large government IT contracts
• 8+ years on contracts of $50M+ per year preferred
• Experience with consumption-based or chargeback billing models in government environments
• Experience with government cost accounting, invoicing, and contract financial compliance
• Experience with IT financial management platforms, including Digital Fuel or equivalent
• Experience managing software/hardware procurement financial activities at enterprise scale
• Must be a US citizen

Responsibilities

Peraton is hiring for a Program Financial Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) under contract. The Financial Director will provide contract-wide financial leadership across more than70 DIR customer agencies, overseeing monthly invoicing, chargeback management, billing reconciliation, procurement financial management, pricing models, financial reporting, forecasting, and contract financial compliance.

This position requires an on-site presence in theAustin, TX metropolitan area. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintainoverall accountability for all financial operationsacross the Texas Private Cloud contract.
• Managemonthly invoicing and chargeback activitiesacross70+ DIR customer agencies.
• Leadbilling dispute resolution and reconciliationwith DIR and customer agencies.
• Manage financial activities associated withSSC/HSC procurement;
• Manage contractpricing modelsand associated financial reporting to DIR.
• Ensurecontract financial compliancewith applicable state procurement requirements.
• Lead budget forecasting and financial planning.
• Providefinancial performance optimization reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities across the contract.
• Coordinate financial reconciliation activities with DIR and customer agencies.
• Support accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing and chargeback operations.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to contract leadership and government stakeholders.
• Support procurement financial management for software and hardware acquisitions at enterprise scale.
• Coordinate financial operations across a complex, multi-customer government IT environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
• 8+ years of financial management experience on large government IT contracts, preferably contracts of$50M+ per year.
• Demonstrated experience withconsumption-based or chargeback billing models in government environments,
• Experience withgovernment cost accounting, invoicing, and contract financial compliance.
• Experience with IT financial management platforms, includingDigital Fuel or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience managingsoftware and hardware procurement financial activities at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of government contract financial operations.
• Experience managing complex billing, invoicing, reconciliation, and dispute resolution processes.
• Experience developing and managing budgets, forecasts, pricing models, and financial performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and financial management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with government customers and stakeholders on financial matters.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Texas state government financial management experience
• Experience managing financial operations for Texas state agencies or comparable government organizations.
• Experience supporting large-scale government IT managed services contracts.
• Experience managing financial operations across multiple customer agencies.
• Experience with government chargeback and consumption-based pricing models.
• Experience with state procurement financial requirements.
• Experience managing large-scale technology procurement financial operations.
• Experience working within complex multi-vendor/MSI government IT environments.
• Experience serving in a combinedFinancial Director / Business Operations Managercapacity.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification
• CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager) certification

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
