Job summary

Peraton in Austin, TX seeks a Program Financial Manager to provide contract-wide financial leadership across the Texas DIR program. You will oversee monthly invoicing, chargeback management, billing reconciliation, and procurement finance for more than 70 DIR agencies.

The role requires extensive government contracting experience, robust budgeting and forecasting skills, and the ability to work directly with government stakeholders. On-site presence in the Austin area is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in government IT contract finance or equivalent.
• 8+ years on large government IT contracts (~$50M+ annual value).
• Experience with consumption-based or chargeback billing models.
• Knowledge of government cost accounting, invoicing, and compliance.
• Experience with IT financial platforms like Digital Fuel.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
• 8+ years of financial management experience on large government IT contracts, preferably contracts of$50M+ per year.
• Demonstrated experience withconsumption-based or chargeback billing models in government environments,
• Experience withgovernment cost accounting, invoicing, and contract financial compliance.
• Experience with IT financial management platforms, includingDigital Fuel or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience managingsoftware and hardware procurement financial activities at enterprise scale.
• Strong understanding of government contract financial operations.

Peraton is hiring for a Program Financial Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) under contract. The Financial Director will provide contract-wide financial leadership across more than70 DIR customer agencies, overseeing monthly invoicing, chargeback management, billing reconciliation, procurement financial management, pricing models, financial reporting, forecasting, and contract financial compliance.

This position requires an on-site presence in theAustin, TX metropolitan area. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX metropolitan area.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintainoverall accountability for all financial operationsacross the Texas Private Cloud contract.
• Managemonthly invoicing and chargeback activitiesacross70+ DIR customer agencies.
• Leadbilling dispute resolution and reconciliationwith DIR and customer agencies.
• Manage financial activities associated withSSC/HSC procurement;
• Manage contractpricing modelsand associated financial reporting to DIR.
• Ensurecontract financial compliancewith applicable state procurement requirements.
• Lead budget forecasting and financial planning.
• Providefinancial performance optimization reporting.
• Monitor financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities across the contract.
