Job summary

Science and Engineering Services, LLC seeks a Program Analyst I in Huntsville, AL to support program finance, budgeting, and planning efforts for DoD-related projects.

The role collaborates with Program Management to track budgets, analyze cost variances, and forecast financial performance, including EVMS and Costpoint tasks. A bachelor’s degree is required, with advantage for EVMS/Costpoint experience; security clearance may be pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or Science required; Master's preferred.
• Two years' experience desired; bachelor's level may require none.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Deltek Cobra and Costpoint experience a plus; EVMS knowledge helpful.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Provides program control and financial support, tracking budget and costs.
• Prepares project financials, explains variances and provides forecasts.
• Performs data research to analyze planning documents and directives.
• Acts as cost analyst in planning and operations research studies.
• Assesses hardware cost impact with PMO considerations.
• Monitors cost, schedule, technical and operational aspects of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
