Job summary

Science-and-Engineering-Services,-LLC- is seeking a Program Analyst I to provide program control support in finance, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning for DoD programs.

You will work with Program Management and other departments, applying Earned Value Management techniques, Costpoint, and MS Office tools to track budgets and analyze cost variances. A Bachelor's is required; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering or Science required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• No experience required for a Bachelors level; two years’ experience desired.
• Requires clear and concise communication, both written and verbal.
• Past Deltek/Costpoint Program Finance, Budget Analysis experience desired.
• MS Office with excellent Excel knowledge/skills preferred.
• Earned Value Management (EVMS) and Deltek Cobra experience a plus.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Security Clearance if/when required.

Responsibilities

• Provides program control support in budget tracking, cost monitoring, project financials, and forecasting.
• Performs data analysis including Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost variance explanations.
• Interprets planning documents to assess PMO impact.
• Supports operations research studies of material and support systems.
• Assesses hardware cost impact with maintenance and logistics considerations.
• Monitors cost, schedule, technical and operational aspects of projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
