Job summary

Long Wave Inc. in Oklahoma City is seeking a finance professional to support cost, resource, and schedule forecasting for government contracting programs.

You will analyze RFPs, develop pricing models, and prepare EACs and cost volumes, while coordinating with program managers on forecasts and annual budgets. A DoD clearance and FAR/DFAR knowledge are preferred; advanced Excel and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years related experience or graduate degree with 2+ years
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of related experience
• Proficient understanding of government contract types (e.g. FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPIF) and their rules and regulations
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Strong organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication
• Able to learn Long Wave's custom systems used by Long Wave
• Able to work collaboratively with program managers and other departments

Responsibilities

• Spearhead ad-hoc financial analyses and monthly program reviews
• Analyze RFPs, develop pricing models, and assist with cost volumes
• Collaborate with program managers to forecast schedules and EACs for projects
• Monitor expenditures to ensure accurate cost classification and future estimates
• Collect, organize, and analyze data of all types
• Produce and distribute monthly reports including financial variance and hours analysis
• Explain monthly cost variances to management with explanations
• Assist with department development and process improvement initiatives
• Assist with annual budget development and operating plans
• Ensure work is completed on time and accurately
• Perform other duties as assigned
