Job summary

i3, Integration Innovation, Inc., is seeking a Program Finance Specialist at our Huntsville, AL office to support the Program Finance team and ensure accurate labor and travel cost tracking for government and prime contracts.

The role demands DoD familiarity, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently or in teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; degree may be substituted by experience.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience.
• DoD experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with program control techniques in federal contracting.
• Experience with Deltek - CP, COGNOS, T&E preferred.
• Experience with financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Audit employee travel voucher submissions and set up labor rates in accounting systems.
• Act as liaison between operations and administrative support on financial issues with subcontractors, vendors and customers.
• Perform administrative duties such as resume input, labor hour input, and travel cost research.
• Create and maintain contractually obligated cost tracking for gov and prime customers.
• Provide additional support to Program and Program Finance team members as needed.
