Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Junior Program Financial Analyst to provide routine and complex program/financial management support, including needs assessments and cost/benefits analyses to align program needs with business initiatives. This role is 100% on-site at Dahlgren, VA and requires ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include supporting the Acquisition Lead in the V Department, managing funding, coordinating meetings, and maintaining reports and briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment; able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Acquisition Lead in the V Department Business Operations.
• Review IBPES financial requirements to identify discrepancies and manage funding.
• Run the monthly Subtask Funding Status Analysis in IBPES.
• Ensure personnel have Network Activity Numbers to charge and monitor variances.
• Manage in-person and VTC meeting logistics, brief management, and visitor access.
• Maintain portfolio plans, weekly/monthly status reports, and key program documents.
• Generate/edit content and collaborate with teammates and sponsors.
