Program Facilitator-Resident Specialist; Salary Range: $39,521 - $43,186 / Annually

JOB PURPOSE: ProvidesResidential Coordination for children and adults with intellectual anddevelopmental disabilities served through Host Home/Companion Care, ResidentialSupport Services, Supervised Living and Supported Home Living, Respite andCommunity Supports. Directs training andsupervision of residential staff and contractors, participates in the hiringprocess and the development of new employees.Monitors the needs of and the provision of services to the individuals whoreside/participate in each location/ service area. Operates within theguidelines of the Performance Contract, HCS, and TxHmL Principles.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or GED. Two years of experience in working withindividuals with disabilities in a residential setting. One-year supervisory experience preferred.

DEGREE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED (IFAPPLICABLE): HS diploma/GED

DRIVING REQUIRED: Yes

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to writeprogress notes according to standards, assessments, brief mental statusexams, memos, letters, various complex reports and miscellaneous otherdocuments with acceptable spelling and grammar.
• Ability to input datainto computer, make calculations, complete paperwork, produce reports.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR CONDITIONS (specify):

• May be required to interact with otherconsumers, referral sources, outside agencies, and family members todetermine needs and actions to be taken.
• Current State of Texas Driver License orif you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state.
• Liability insurance required ifemployee will operate personal vehicle on Center property or for Centerbusiness. Must be insurable byCenter's liability carrier if employee operates a Center vehicle or drivespersonal car on Center business.
• Must complete all trainingrequirements in month in which they are due.
• May be required to provideon-call duties.
• May be required to fill in forvacant shifts, which may include overnight shift
• Availability of a personalvehicle for business use may be required.
• Work will take placewithin office setting, community setting and within the homes of clients
• Must submit to andpass a pre-employment drug test
• Must successfullypass all background screens as required by the state
