Job summary

FirePoint Innovations is seeking a Program Student Assistant to carry out administrative and technical tasks under supervision. Depending on the area, you may assist and mentor other students or provide campus-wide support across the campus.

A student assistant will perform duties requested by a supervisor, with opportunities to engage in various projects and events in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Business, Management, Entrepreneurship required.
• Communications, Marketing, or PR experience encouraged.
• MIS, Data Analytics, or IT exposure.
• Engineering or STEM background encouraged.
• Reliable transportation; Most work from Groover Labs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in tracking engagement information and recording notes on discovery calls.
• Identify funding opportunities, solicitations, and challenges for qualified companies we engage with.
• Provide dedicated assistance to support event coordination.
• Update the Ecosystem calendar with statewide events for team/partner awareness (Encountering Innovation, Fuse Ventures, etc.).
• Assist with research efforts and coordination of the Kansas Defense Coalition.
• Support table/booth presence at local tradeshows, events, and conferences.
• Contribute to Tasker Projects, particularly data population as assigned by ARI.
• Research and identify companies that align with our Transition Programs.
