Job summary

UMass Chan Medical School invites applications for a Program Director to lead the INDEX Program within the Shriver Center. The role oversees technology-focused projects, provides services and technical assistance to clients, and ensures fiscal and operational oversight to meet contracted scopes of work.

You will direct business operations, develop new revenue initiatives, supervise staff, manage contracts, and report on financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline.
• 9 years of relevant experience in large-scale technology-related project development and/or delivery.
• Proven administrative and management ability in complex environments.
• Proven ability to understand, communicate, and present complex business and technical information in sales and service contexts.
• Excellent writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage a diverse team, as well as interact with senior leaders.
• Proven ability to prioritize projects, and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee business services, methods and strategies to provide technological services and meet revenue targets for operation of the INDEX program.
• Direct day-to-day logistics and operational needs of the INDEX program.
• Lead program-level planning and management for performance goals related to operational and financial management.
• Develop and evaluate new revenue initiatives and potential lines of business.
• Supervise and guide staff within the INDEX program and address performance issues.
• Drive program expansion, resource planning, and skill-sets assessment to achieve objectives.
• Understand client technology and business challenges to inform offerings.
• Improve quality and delivery of services and operations, addressing emerging issues.
• Oversee annual and project-specific budgets and financial performance.
