Job summary

CHR Career Opportunities is seeking a Program Director for Hendee Road House in Coventry, CT. This full-time, 40-hour week role provides clinical direction to a residential program for men with severe mental illness, with Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM schedule and on-site coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s in mental health field required.
• 3-5 years clinician experience and 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensure: LCSW, LMFT, LADC, or LPC preferred in CT.

Responsibilities

• Direct crisis intervention efforts and intervene as required.
• Monitor client meetings, admissions, continued stay and discharge criteria.
• Provide clinical direction and leadership within the Team.
• Evaluate staff and initiate progressive discipline if needed.
• Ensure timely completion of reports and data on performance indicators and standards.
• Oversee chart audits and documentation.
• Hire staff and review caseloads for appropriate service utilization.
• Provide on-sight coverage for other programs when needed.
• Develop and execute marketing plan for the program as needed.
• Provide training and case consultation.
• On-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned.
• Maintain vehicles if applicable.
• Participate in committees to improve service delivery and quality.
• Manage program budgets and productivity expectations.
