About The Role

As a CBRE Program Director, you will manage teams responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects and programs. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mail, Document Services, Shipping & Receiving, your expertise is critical for creating and delivering operational strategies and ensuring a superior customer experience. You will analyze, evaluate, create, and implement operational plans to provide industry-leading services to our clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Evaluate scope of work to determine staffing needs for daily operations.
  • Create presentation materials on methodology and industry knowledge for staffing and operational models.
  • Utilize cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective staffing solutions.
  • Provide insights on compliance and regulatory requirements related to mail, shipping, and receiving, including postal regulations, IATA/DOT, security screening (CBRNE), and safety standards (HAZMAT, PPE).
  • Conduct process assessments and identify improvement areas.
  • Offer guidance on best practices and industry standards in mail and shipping operations.
  • Assist account teams with troubleshooting operational challenges and implementing solutions.
  • Supervise staff, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and assist with recruitment during transitions.
  • Oversee team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Track budgets and explain variances.
  • Record time for financial and operational reporting.
  • Serve as a client contact and escalation point for staffing, bandwidth, or delivery issues.
  • Assist in resource allocation and facilitate project status meetings.
  • Train staff and develop processes to support client needs.
  • Report project and program status to senior management.
  • Manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring schedules are met and issues resolved.
  • Manage relationships with internal, external, and vendor partners to meet deadlines.
  • Apply knowledge across disciplines to improve departmental and cross-functional performance.
  • Lead by example, model CBRE RISE values, and negotiate with external partners.
  • Identify and resolve complex operational and organizational problems.
  • Improve existing methods, processes, and standards.
  • Ask questions and determine root causes to enhance operations.
  • Travel up to 50%, including some weekends.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 4+ years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience totaling 6+ years.
  • 4+ years in Mail/Shipping/Logistics and warehouse management.
  • 4+ years in HazMat, IATA, DOT (including 49 CFR regulations); certifications preferred but must be obtained within 120 days if not already certified.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, dollies) and regulatory safety standards.
  • Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to all organizational levels.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Leadership skills to set and achieve targets impacting multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Excellent organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
