Job summary

JCC Association is seeking an experienced Program Director for JCC Maccabi to lead strategy, delegation growth, and program quality. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and on-site coordination with host communities during the Games.

The position emphasizes collaboration with JCC Maccabi teams, managing a Program Manager, and delivering high-impact teen programming and Jewish community engagement nationwide and internationally.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience.
• Experience with the JCC Maccabi program.
• Demonstrated involvement in and knowledge of the Jewish community and JCC Movement.
• Sports-minded and service-focused with a mission-driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Flexible, detail-oriented and organized with ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRMs/databases, survey software, social media platforms, and basic website design tools.
• Ability to travel up to 15–20 percent of the time.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a Make it happen attitude.
• High maturity, adaptability, and initiative.
• Preferred: Experience as a JCC Maccabi Delegation Head.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy for the JCC Maccabi program to meet delegation participation goals.
• Recruit and onboard new delegations (North American and global).
• Support Israel delegations with shaliach/shlicha collaboration.
• Design and deliver monthly Delegation Head trainings and a toolkit.
• Coordinate continental recruitment campaigns with marketing.
• Maintain relationships with 100+ delegation representatives.
• Advise host communities on recruitment, planning, and operations.
