Job summary

National Capital Treatment & Recovery (NCTR) is seeking a full-time Program Director for Recovery Haven, a new program in partnership with Friends of Guest House in Alexandria. The role oversees clinical, case management and compliance activities to support adult residential women with Medicaid funding, under CARF accreditation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Virginia LCSW or LPC license.
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field.
• CSAC in Virginia preferred.
• Combination of substance abuse counseling and supervisory experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program under Deputy Chief Clinical Officer and Executive Director.
• Perform ASAM assessments to determine eligibility (3.1 level).
• Obtain Medicaid authorizations and support UR with needed data.
• Provide five hours/week of professionally directed treatment.
• Coordinate with case management for Medicaid-funded care.
• Uphold CARF accreditation standards and ethics.
• Maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
• Develop outreach and public relations with referral sources.
• Manage fiscal and budget integrity for the program.
• Maintain licensure/certifications (CES, CPR, First Aid, EMR).
