Job summary

Community Connections seeks a Clinical Director to lead the Recovery and Wellness Center in DC. You will supervise licensed clinicians, CACs, recovery coaches, and clinical staff, ensuring delivery of evidence-based outpatient addiction treatment aligned with DBH Title 22-A standards and ASAM criteria.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care, program development, and ongoing quality improvement, with responsibility for regulatory compliance and staff development.

Qualifications

• Required 5 years of progressively responsible clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• Required 3 years of experience supervising behavioral health services.
• Required 1 year of experience with BSAS licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical services, client access, engagement, retention, and discharge planning.
• Promote evidence-based outpatient addiction treatment services.
• Ensure services reflect trauma-informed, harm reduction, motivational interviewing and recovery-oriented principles.
• Provide team supervision, licensure training, and performance evaluation.
