Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Program Director for Independent Living Services in Sacramento, CA 95814. The role focuses on leading one-on-one, skills-based ILS instruction for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, delivered in client homes and community settings.

The position offers a salary range of $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year, full-time status, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and life/AD&D.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and administrative skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in community-based settings.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic documentation systems.
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
• Acceptable driving record; ability to travel regularly between client locations.
• Ability to meet physical demands including walking, driving, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured, one-on-one instruction in ILS domains, including daily living activities and community integration.
• Implement individualized, person-centered goals and ensure alignment with client needs.
• Apply Active Supports and evidence-based teaching strategies (task analysis, prompting, fading).
• Support generalization of skills across home and community settings.
• Monitor and document client progress toward goals in a timely manner.
• Identify and communicate changes in client condition or performance impacting service delivery.
• Transport and accompany clients in the community as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of services.
• Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality; comply with laws and agency policies.
