Job summary

Odyssey House seeks a Program Director to lead the day-to-day administration and clinical management of its OHM HarborHousing and Scatter-Site Housing programs. This role oversees 60-bed OMH-funded transitional housing and 20-bed scatter-site housing in the Bronx, East Harlem, and coordinates with the Sr.

Director of Community Housing. You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare monthly/annual reports.

Qualifications

• Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CRC, Ph.D., MSN, etc.).
• Two (2) years’ experience in administration and one year in a clinical, mental health, housing or chemical dependency setting.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• This position requires availability as needed including on call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, and orient all program staff.
• Develop and monitor program systems, policies and procedures.
• Act as liaison to funding sources, the community-at-large, and corporate officers.
• Maintain Quality Assurance/Utilization Review of clinical services.
• Supervise staff records and record-keeping responsibilities.
• Prepare monthly reports for the Sr. Director of Community Housing and OMH annual report.
• Ensure supervision for staff per Odyssey House policies; write six-month staff evaluations.
• Comply with OMH regulations and participate in certification processes.
• Maintain good relations with the state monitoring agency and external partners.
• Prepare all proposals and reports as needed.
• Conduct regular clinical and administrative meetings with staff.
• Provide ongoing staff training and participate in in-service trainings.
• Directly supervise Administrative Assistant, Clinical Coordinator, Facility Manager, LPN and Scatter-site Case Manager.
