Job summary

Odyssey House in New York City seeks a Program Director of Community Housing to lead administrative and property management for the Haven Congregate site (63 units) and 135 scattered-site housing. The role reports to the VP of Mental Health & Housing Services and ensures adherence to agency policy and regulatory standards.

The position requires an advanced clinical degree and LMHC licensure, with 10 years of progressive clinical experience including 5 years in supervisory/administrative roles.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical degree required.
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) required.
• 10 years of progressive clinical experience including direct service, supervisory, and administrative practices with at least 5 years in supervisory/administrative capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and oversight to programs and management staff.
• Act as liaison to funding and regulatory bodies (e.g., NYS OASAS, HRA, DOHMH).
• Ensure compliance with operating regulations and Odyssey House standards and participate in annual tenant recertifications.
• Monitor day-to-day operations of clinical and facility departments to ensure funding compliance.
• Develop new linkages with external service providers and landlords.
• Ensure staff are trained on policies and regulatory standards and manage personnel actions.
