Job summary

Odyssey House Inc. in East Harlem, NY seeks a Program Director to oversee the day-to-day operation of a 60-bed OMH funded Transitional Housing program and a 20-bed scatter-site housing program in the Bronx.

You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a liaison with funding sources. Qualified Mental Health Professionals with administration and clinical housing experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mental Health Professional (e.g. LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, CRC, Ph.D., MSN, etc.)
• Two (2) years’ experience in administration and one year in a clinical, mental health, housing or chemical dependency setting.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• This position will require availability as needed including on call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of a 60 bed OMH funded Transitional Housing program in East Harlem and a 20 bed OMH Scatter-site permanent housing program in the Bronx.
• Supervise the staff and coordinate programs; ensure regulatory compliance and organizational standards.
• Maintain records and prepare monthly reports; liaise with funding sources and community partners.
• Conduct regular meetings with staff and provide ongoing training and evaluations as needed.
