Program Director, Enterprise Transformation (ERP / SAP)
Employment type: Full time, permanent
Travel: up to 100%
No sponsorship.
About the opportunity
- A global tier-1 IT services and consulting firm is hiring a Program Director into its Enterprise Solutions Consulting Practice. This is a senior leadership seat accountable for planning, executing and governing complex, large-scale business transformation engagements from strategy through go-live.
- You will own program-level status, metrics, risk and deliverables across multiple concurrent transformation projects, including ERP implementations and business process redesign, while managing timelines, resourcing and capacity planning. Alongside delivery ownership, you will drive business development, shape proposals, produce thought leadership and represent the practice at industry events.
- This role carries genuine C-suite exposure. You will guide business stakeholders toward the right SAP solution, translate business requirements into technical direction, and lead steering committees with credibility.
What you will do
- Lead delivery of large global business transformation programs, with clear ownership of business outcomes and value realization.
- Oversee multiple transformational projects simultaneously, including full life cycle ERP implementations.
- Manage program governance: status reporting, metrics, risk, issue resolution and deliverable quality.
- Lead steering committee, business and project management team meetings.
- Drive business development, proposal development, estimation and business case creation.
- Manage and mentor teams of 20 or more resources.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders and build lasting client relationships.
- Produce thought leadership and represent the practice externally.
What you will bring
- Minimum 10 years of transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 5 full life cycle ERP implementations as Project Manager, covering multiple modules such as Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing and Warehouse.
- At least 6 years in proposal and business case development.
- Proven experience leading sales opportunities and influencing commercial outcomes.
- Hands-on background leading a specific functional stream.
- Fluency in business language with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel up to 100%.
Who this role is NOT for
- This is not a pure PMO or scheduling role. If your experience is coordinating plans rather than owning transformation outcomes, this will not be a fit.
- This is not a technical SAP configuration role. Deep module configuration without program leadership and client-facing ownership will not translate.
- This is not suitable for candidates whose program experience sits entirely inside a single internal IT function. Consulting or client-side delivery at scale is required.
- This is not a delivery-only seat. Business development, proposal ownership and revenue influence are core to the role, not optional.
- This is not for candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
