Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Program Director for the Addison, TX facility. The role entails supervising the eating disorder treatment program, staff, and clients, and collaborating with leadership to ensure services align with the mission and values.

The PD will lead treatment team meetings, participate in staff interviews, deliver in-service trainings, and oversee utilization reviews and staffing to match census. A Master's or Doctorate plus licensure is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a Masters or Doctorate in Addiction Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Current and valid LMFT/LMSW/PhD/PsyD/LPC/LCSW/MFTI or RD, supervisory licensure preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in administration or management of mental health programs.
• Experience in Eating Disorder treatment is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program aspects to ensure quality and initiate improvements.
• Supervise weekly Treatment Team Meetings for effective communication and teamwork.
• Participate in staff interviewing and onboarding.
• Provide bi-monthly in-service trainings for Professional and Counseling staff.
• Lead development areas such as Diagnosis, Group Therapy, Milieu Management, and Communication Skills.
• Assign client cases and provide individual and family therapy as appropriate.
• Support marketing efforts and maintain collaborations with outpatient treatment teams.
• Provide on-call support and ultimate oversight when necessary.
