Job summary

PAI seeks a Program Director for Day Support Services in White Bear Lake, MN. This exempt, full-time role leads two Day Support Services and Prevocational Programs, supervising Program Supervisors and Direct Support Professionals to deliver meaningful, person-centered services.

You will partner with HR on hiring and retention, oversee licensing compliance under 245D, incident review and corrective action, and ensure accurate documentation and program improvements.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in human services.
• Strong communication and judgment.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on participant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Program Supervisors and staff.
• Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding and retention; manage employee matters.
• Serve as Designated Manager under Minnesota 245D licensing; ensure licensing compliance and incident handling.
• Ensure person-centered services with assessments, skill development and outcomes.
• Build relationships with providers, families and guardians; support intake and growth.
• Lead program quality, continuous improvement and innovation.
