Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas is seeking a Program Director to lead a data-informed substance use prevention initiative across the Rio Grande Valley. You will coordinate community partnerships, expand evidence-based services, and guide workforce capacity building.

You will apply SPF, monitor outcomes, manage budgets, and ensure sustainable programs for youth and underserved rural communities; travel within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, public health, or equivalent.
• Experience with community needs assessments and data collection/analysis.
• Must have reliable transportation and travel within the service area.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor program implementation and service delivery, ensuring activities align with program goals and community needs.
• Apply the SPF, needs assessments, and data to guide prevention strategies while coordinating with coalitions.
• Monitor program effectiveness, outcomes, participation, and quality indicators; manage budgets and resources.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with behavioral health and community leaders, including MOUs and referral pathways.
• Monitor the implementation of prevention messages and media campaigns to raise awareness of services.
• Provide oversight to coalition staff, ensuring data collection, reporting, compliance, and sustainability.
