Job summary

CAMBA seeks an Assistant Director in Brooklyn, NY to lead the Cornerstone program, coordinating youth, adult, senior, and community activities. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, and maintain strong partnerships with NYCHA and schools while meeting reporting and budgeting requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's or equivalent credentials with supervisory experience; bilingual candidates are preferred, and evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree or 18 credits in education or related field; OR certificate in Youth Studies with two years of relevant experience.
• OCFS credential options with two years of direct experience supervising children.
• School Age Child Care Credential with two years direct experience and supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and day-to-day management of the Cornerstone program.
• Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of youth, adult, senior, and community programming.
• Ensure contractual goals, enrollment, attendance, and reporting deadlines are met.

Skills

Two years supervisory/management

Education
