Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is seeking a leader to manage the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program. You will oversee staff, coordinate across regions, and ensure compliant program delivery.

You will guide volunteer stations, work with partners, and monitor performance toward grant goals, while maintaining strong communication with internal teams to support service excellence across LA County.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, public administration, social services, business administration, communications, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in program or project management, grant-funded programs, volunteer management, community-based programming, or related fields.
• Experience supervising or providing direction to staff and coordinating work across multiple sites or locations preferred.
• Strong project management, leadership, communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall management and implementation of the YMCA AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program across the association.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and support to AmeriCorps Seniors Support Staff with clear expectations and accountability.
• Coordinate program activities across regions to ensure a unified RSVP implementation.
• Lead regular coordination meetings to review regional implementation, recruitment, engagement, training needs, and grant progress.
• Maintain communication with YMCA volunteers, centers, partners, and stakeholders to support program delivery.
• Ensure compliance with AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP requirements, including screenings, documentation, training, and reporting.
• Oversee grant requirements, reporting, and submissions in collaboration with Grants Team and leadership.
• Engage in TTA trainings and stay current on AmeriCorps regulations and best practices.
