Job summary

Education Service Center Region 2 seeks a P-ALT Program Administrator to provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Preparation-Alternative Teacher Certification Pathway, in partnership with TEA and CTAPP, to increase the educator workforce in South Texas.

You will ensure program compliance with grant requirements, support candidate recruitment and success, and collaborate with district partners and stakeholders to sustain a high-quality program.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in education, Education Leadership, or related field.
• Valid Texas educator certification.
• Minimum of five years of experience in education.
• Experience leading educational initiatives or programs.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience facilitating professional learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the P-ALT Teacher Certification Pathway.
• Oversee implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the program.
• Coordinate with TEA, CTAPP, and district partners.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and support candidate recruitment and success.
