East Side House Settlement in Bronx, NY, seeks a Program Director, UIM to lead the SONYC after-school and summer programs, advancing high-quality youth development and community engagement.

Under the Department Director of Community School Programs, you will supervise staff, recruit partners, manage budgets, and ensure program compliance, safety, and reporting, while building strong school and family partnerships.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years in youth services, with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish preferred) a plus.
• Strong public speaking, writing, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the public education system and positive youth development best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee SONYC after-school program staff and summer camp.
• Recruit, hire, orient, and develop program staff.
• Supervise staff and deliver services to meet goals and performance outcomes.
• Coordinate participant recruitment and retention strategies with DYCD Connect reports.
• Liaise with school administration, parents, and community entities.
• Prepare and evaluate mid-year staff performance reviews; mentor staff.
• Develop quarterly community events and partnerships to expand resources.
