Job summary

Girls on the Run Hampton Roads is seeking a Program Director to lead after-school operations across about 20 sites in Hampton Roads. The role emphasizes recruitment, public speaking, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills to support girls’ social, emotional, and physical health while aligning with GOTRHR mission.

The position reports to the Senior Program Director and requires collaborative leadership with other Program Directors.

Qualifications

• Non-profit or educational sector experience required.
• BA/BS in related field or equivalent passion/experience.
• Strong tech skills to navigate web-based software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set seasonal goals for sites and enrollment.
• Develop and execute marketing plans to reach goals.
• Recruit and manage volunteer coaches.
• Oversee program operations across ~20 sites.
