Responsibilities
- Oversee the programmatic structure of the Cottage for six patients aged 6-12, ensuring active engagement in therapeutic groups and daily tasks.
- Provide direct therapy services and case management.
- Coordinate admissions, group and activity therapy.
- Participate in Utilization Review, Performance Improvement, and Risk Management processes.
- Work as a flexible member of a small team to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, providing all aspects of patient care.
Qualifications
- Education: Must have a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Psychiatric experience working with children aged 6-12 is required. Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Licensure: Must be licensed in counseling or social work, maintain a valid driver’s license, and a food handler’s card.
- Additional Requirements: Successful completion of CRP Certification, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and First Aid. Effective communication skills, professionalism, good command of English, organizational, and management skills are essential.
