Job summary

The Shalom Hartman Institute of North America seeks a motivated, organized individual to support program logistics in Detroit and Chicago. You will help plan virtual and in-person events, coordinate travel, and assist with program materials and donor engagements.

Strong written and oral communication, independence, and teamwork are essential. BA or equivalent, Hebrew helpful, and willingness to travel 1–2 times per month are expected.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in SHI NA’s mission and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support program logistics for virtual and in-person events and donor engagements.
• Prepare materials, invitations, and travel itineraries for faculty and events.
• Coordinate contracts and scheduling; maintain donor records and reports.
• Assist with program evaluations and data management.
• Provide general administrative support to senior staff.
