Job summary

Yachad Chicago seeks an Interim Program Director to lead and grow programs serving participants, families, volunteers, and staff. Working under the Regional Director, you will shape services, ensure excellent customer service, and build a scalable structure in Chicago.

This role requires strong communication, deep community knowledge, and the ability to oversee intake, programming, Shabbatons, and financial management while fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Well-versed in Jewish values and Chicago Jewish community.
• Experience in organizational management and staff support.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee/new intakes and engage community partners.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee weeknight/weekend programs weekly.
• Supervise program aides and ensure high-quality experiences.
• Attend multiple programs for on-site supervision and support.
• Manage invoices and support payment inquiries.
