Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst/Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst in Layton, UT, within the Aeronautics Systems sector. Positions may be filled at level 1 or 2, with competition for either a Bachelor’s or Master’s background and a required security clearance.

Responsibilities include setting up cost control systems, preparing budgets and schedules, and performing risk analyses to keep contracts within approved cost and schedule baselines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for higher level.
• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance and ability to obtain Program Special Access.

Responsibilities

• Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
• Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government guidelines.
• Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs financial analyses such as funding profiles and variance analysis.
• Prepares program plans to ensure requirements and SOW are captured and scheduled.
• Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
• Maintains funding availability by recording expenditures and submitting funding requests to government.
