Job summary

The Child Center of NY is seeking a Program Coordinator to support policy development, budgeting, and staff supervision under the guidance of the Program Director. You will assign work, monitor productivity, and help ensure program costs stay aligned with the budget.

The role requires collaborating with staff and community partners to address youth needs, plan services, and maintain program documents. Strong administrative and multi-tasking abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts Degree or Associate of Sciences Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Education, or related field (Preferred).
• Master's Degree in Education, Social Work or other related field (Preferred).
• 3 years' working on Youth-based program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to plan and carry out assignments independently
• Ability to prioritize, adhere to timelines and multi-task
• Bilingual in one or more languages (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Ensures program productivity goals are met efficiently and effectively.
• Participates in program planning and identifies gaps to meet community needs.
• Acts as liaison in the community through outreach and promotion of the program.
• Addresses special needs and makes accommodations for disabilities.
• Create/Update Program documents and forms.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
