Job summary

LIFT Community Action Agency, Inc. seeks a Program Coordinator Victim Advocate to support SPHH Too in Choctaw, McCurtain, and Pushmataha counties. You will assist with planning, training, and coordinating services for victims of violence, while building partnerships with law enforcement and service providers.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed outreach, confidential case management, and long-term client follow-up. Travel is required; MS/VAWA-compliant practices apply.

Qualifications

• Must submit to and pass a background screening.
• Degree or equivalent work experience in criminal justice, child development, counseling, social services, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in developing and delivering training and/or technical assistance is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with and empower victims of crime; knowledge and understanding of families in crisis is preferred.
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Must be able to work collaboratively as a team player as well as lead coalitions or large groups.
• Must have valid Driver's License, valid automobile insurance, and own a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director with design, planning, implementation, and coordination of the SPHH Too Program.
• Provide direct services to victims (emotional support, advocacy, referrals, follow-ups).
• Conduct intake assessments and develop goals based on identified needs.
• Provide trauma-informed outreach, advocacy, and crisis intervention.
• Maintain victim safety and confidentiality per VAWA requirements.
• Conduct safety planning and comprehensive case management.
• Develop and distribute Victim Support Kits and resources.
• Travel as required to support program activities.
