Job summary

City of New York's Department of Transportation seeks a Program Coordinator for the Cycling & Micromobility Unit to support the Secure Bike Program (SBP). You will develop outreach materials, coordinate with internal divisions and community stakeholders, and help educate the public as NYC DOT installs 500 secure bike parking facilities over five years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with related community work.
• Ability to travel and perform field investigations year-round.
• Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable SBP installation locations through field investigations.
• Review installation plans for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain databases and develop data collection protocols.
• Create maps with ArcGIS and produce outreach materials with Adobe/PowerPoint.
• Coordinate with internal divisions, agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Support public education, outreach events, and inquiries related to SBP.
• Assist with performance reporting and post-installation inspections.
