Job summary

Emory University in Atlanta seeks a program professional to lead logistics, research, and publication development for academic program initiatives. You will coordinate conferences, manage budgets, and oversee communications with Emory and partner organizations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develops work plans to accomplish program goals and monitors progress.
  • Conducts research to develop various publications.
  • Develops promotional materials for reports, briefings, or newsletters.
  • Assists in coordinating program-related conferences and meetings.
  • Monitors expenditures and participates in budget planning and reporting.
  • Identifies funding resources and develops fund-raising strategies.
  • Prepares operational and statistical reports.
  • Conducts training, represents the program at meetings, and networks with affiliated groups.
  • Supervises project staff, interns, and volunteers as needed.
  • Manages day-to-day logistics across multiple program streams.
  • Coordinates communications and documentation between Emory and ARA.
  • Maintains a comprehensive program calendar and documentation repository.
  • Provides logistical support for public programming.
  • Oversees vendor contracts, honoraria, and event logistics with Emory offices.
  • Liaises with speakers and fellows regarding logistics and materials.
  • Ensures timely reimbursements and payments per Emory policies.
  • Assists in drafting annual reports for Marcus Foundation and internal stakeholders.
  • Tracks program expenses across multiple budget lines.

Job description
