Job summary

Emory College is seeking a Program Coordinator to organize and plan the Data and Decision Sciences program, establish long-term objectives, and develop work plans to meet goals. You will supervise staff and coordinate recruitment, onboarding, advising, registration, and degree progress.

You will prepare operational and financial reports, develop promotional materials, and coordinate conferences and meetings. Collaboration with faculty and staff is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program.
  • Two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience or education related to data science or quantitative methods highly desirable.
  • Ability to coordinate student recruitment, onboarding, advising, registration, and degree progress activities.
  • Ability to prepare operational, statistical, and financial reports.
  • Ability to conduct research and develop publications and promotional materials.
  • Ability to coordinate conferences, conventions, meetings, and training.
  • Ability to monitor expenditures and support budget planning.
  • Ability to collaborate with faculty, graduate school personnel, and department staff.

  • Supervise assigned project staff, interns, and/or volunteers as needed.
  • Oversee Emory College’s Master of Science degree program in Data and Decision Sciences.
  • Coordinate student recruitment, onboarding, advising, educational policy and procedure inquiries, online registration, and degree progress.
  • Create reports supporting department initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department staff to ensure curricular and extracurricular programs run smoothly and effectively.
