Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience providing fiscal and administrative support in a college academic department.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent written, electronic, and oral communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred).
• Working knowledge of UW and UW Tacoma (preferred).
• Working knowledge of Workday (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Fiscal Support (40%): Input departmental expenditures via e-procurement, ProCard, and purchase orders; process reimbursements, invoices, and travel reimbursements.
• Perform budget reconciliation for the School’s state, scholarships, discretionary and Founder’s budgets.
• Interpret, follow, and advise on the University’s purchasing policies and procedures relating to reimbursements, procurement, and ProCard usage for the University of Washington.
