JobsOhio is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Sites and Infrastructure team in Ohio. You will assist the BR&E program and the JobsOhio Network, strengthening connections with regional partners and providing staff with information and support for events, communications, and project tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong working knowledge of BR&E program strategy, policies, stakeholders, and processes.
  • Manage Sector targeting initiatives including key account program, company risk management, and outreach.
  • Track activity with targeted companies for accountability, assist with outreach planning and collaboration.
  • Coordinate BR&E scheduling, calls, and meeting logistics; act as point of contact for sector directors and JON.
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, and reports; capture follow-up actions.
  • Provide Salesforce support and dashboards for BR&E; monitor data integrity.
  • Assist with analyzing BR&E data to report quarterly progress to teams.
  • Support network contracts invoicing and budget reconciliation.

Summary of Position

The Program Coordinator is an integral member of the Sites and Infrastructure team assisting with the Business Retention & Expansion (BR&E) program and the JobsOhio Network (JON). This role will serve to enhance connections between JobsOhio and the 7 regional economic development organizations that constitute the JobsOhio Network. The Program Coordinator will provide staff at these organizations with proper connections and information while working in a collaborative manner. The JobsOhio Business Retention & Expansion program serves existing Ohio companies through direct interactions, informed discussions, and follow-up services.The Program Coordinator provides direct support to the program managers and leaders on the team. Duties include performing various operational and project tasks, developing adequate knowledge and experience to run program processes, administrative support for program events and meetings, assisting with communications to internal and external stakeholders, acting as secondary support for other programs and areas of work administered by the rest of the Sites and Infrastructure team, and other duties/special projects as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities
Business Retention & Expansion Program (BR&E)
  • Develop a strong working knowledge and provide support to BR&E program strategy, policies, stakeholders, and processes to both JobsOhio and the regional Network Partners
  • Manage Sector targeting initiatives including key account program, company risk management, and strategy-driven outreach
  • Track activity with targeted companies for accountability, assist with company outreach planning and collaboration
  • Manage the Sector-JON BR&E coordination calls including updating the agenda, scheduling/rescheduling, and invitation management. Be the point of contact for both sector director and JON for these collaboration points. Join the calls as needed and provides notes/action items as follow-up
  • Coordinate with JobsOhio Executive Assistants, Sector Directors, and JON to facilitate and organize sector BR&E scheduling into a streamlined process
  • Support outreach efforts for high priority, difficult to schedule targets by researching contacts, recent news, and existing relationships
  • Complete periodic reviews of BR&E record data for integrity and completeness
  • Provide Salesforce support to the BR&E program including updating and monitoring reports and dashboards
  • Assists with analyzing BR&E record and related data to monitor progress towards established metrics/goals, develop insights, and report out to appropriate teams at least quarterly.
  • Create presentation and training materials for internal and external audiences
  • Ensure company briefs are prepared and provided to BR&E practitioners
  • Other special projects as assigned
  • Provide administrative support for Network contracts, including invoicing and budget reconciliation
  • Coordinates preparation of JobsOhio Network performance reviews including assembling materials, verifying content, and scheduling with appropriate personnel
  • Prepare various materials to support the team including agendas, presentations, reports. Capture and coordinate follow-up actions and ensure deliverables are received in timely manner
  • Works with the JobsOhio Network to ensure that organizational records are received and up to date
  • Develop adequate knowledge and experience to provide secondary support for other programs and areas of work administered by the rest of the JobsOhio Network team
