Job summary

Heartland Family Service in Omaha seeks a Program Coordinator for the Heartland Housing Sanctuary to oversee community-based advocacy and supportive housing operations, coordinating outreach, training, and crisis-stabilization duties.

The role partners with law enforcement and DV/SA teams, assists with staff supervision, scheduling, reporting, and ensures 24/7 crisis coverage when needed; requires driving and travel within town.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in social services or related field.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular supervision and support for all assigned program staff.
• Hire, supervise, monitor, train, evaluate and develop direct care program staff.
• Assist with service delivery and project implementation throughout the program.
• Participate in agency quality improvement teams and workgroups; guide project/policy implementation.
• Attend weekly team meetings with program staff.
• Attend community meetings for coordination of services for survivors.
• Support the training and outreach efforts for the program.
• Develop program policies and procedures and monitor their implementation.
