The Program Coordinator supports the Hidalgo County Regional Mobility Authority (HCRMA) leadership by organizing program activities, coordinating external support, and ensuring project needs are met with accuracy and discretion. This role exists to keep communication, documentation, and vendor coordination moving efficiently while maintaining strong service to internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include coordinating with consultants/contractors and suppliers, supporting contract and procurement discussions, preparing materials using desktop publishing tools, and responding to client inquiries and concerns on behalf of management.

Your day is primarily onsite and indoors, balancing planned coordination with real-time updates. You’ll shift between drafting polished documents, tracking timelines, and preparing information for discussions with board members, local officials, and the public. The schedule is generally a 5-day, 40-hour week, with occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and the possibility of emergency call-in.
