An organization in New York is seeking a Program Coordinator with grant administration experience to support program officers and project initiatives focused on climate‑related health challenges affecting vulnerable populations. This is a temporary, full‑time opportunity starting as soon as possible for a detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative and mission‑driven environment.

Position Overview

The Program Coordinator will play an important role in grant administration, research, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement. This position supports the Health Team by helping manage grant processes, preparing research and briefing materials, and coordinating meetings and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support program officers with grant administration, including monitoring grant processes and drafting grant and contract materials under guidance.
  • Conduct research and analysis related to climate and health challenges impacting vulnerable populations.
  • Prepare background materials, memos, slide decks, and briefing documents for internal and external meetings.
  • Document stakeholder engagements in Salesforce and maintain related records.
  • Gather and organize supporting materials such as quotes, testimonials, photos, and video for communications purposes.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and convenings, including researching invitees, managing invitations, and preparing briefing materials.
  • Assist with project management across team priorities, tracking timelines and coordinating contributors.
  • Support additional projects and operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Degree or relevant professional experience in public health, public policy, business, government, international development, or a related field.
  • Prior grant administration or grant management experience required.
  • Experience working with grant management systems such as Salesforce required.
Skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting meetings, convenings, and event logistics.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced team environment.
