JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision, provides comprehensive administrative support to individual law school faculty members and law school academic programs. Responsibilities include coordinating and managing administrative tasks related to law school faculty including courses, events, workshops, and other academic initiatives. Also supports various academic centers and departments with communication, event planning and day-to-day office operations.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and manages course materials, handouts, and other documents for faculty members and academic events
• Assists with preparation of faculty scholarship, including transcription, editing, and correspondence
• Coordinates travel arrangements, maintains calendars, and duplicates and distributes materials
• Processes faculty reimbursements and ensures expenses comply with University policies and financial system requirements
• Coordinates logistics for faculty-related events and academic workshops, including venues, catering, transportation, accommodations, and event setup
• Monitors event budgets to ensure appropriate use of allocated funds for operations and purchases
• Maintains digital and physical records related to events and faculty support services
• Responds to telephone and email inquiries regarding departmental and program questions and concerns; communicates and interprets policies and procedures and may develop procedures for assigned areas
• Handles confidential matters and sensitive records using discretion and sound judgment
• Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Three years of relevant experience in administrative support, program coordination, or event support, ideally in an academic setting
