Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is seeking a Program Coordinator for Early Intervention. Based in Jefferson City, you will supervise regional staff, develop guidance manuals, and drive program improvements across surveys, needs assessments, and outcomes.

The role includes coordinating SPOE and stakeholder meetings, reviewing billing trends, and ensuring compliance with EI materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, early childhood education, child development, social/human services, human development and family studies, or related field from an accredited four-year college with one or more years in the field.
  • Four or more years of work or technical experience in the field of special education, early childhood education, child development, social/human services, human development and family studies, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise regional Early Intervention staff.
  • Develop and maintain guidance and procedure manuals.
  • Lead program improvement initiatives including Provider and Family Surveys, Needs Assessments, Early Intervention teams, and Early Childhood Outcomes.
  • Create annual Year at a Glance report.
  • Plan and coordinate quarterly System Point of Entry (SPOE) meetings.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings.
  • Review, approve, and track trends of billing issues, fund recoveries, and adjustments.
  • Coordinate with compliance unit on materials affecting provider and SPOE compliance.
  • Demonstrate regular, reliable attendance.

What You’ll Do
  • Supervise regional Early Intervention staff.
