Job summary

Penn Health-Tech (PHT), the University of Pennsylvania's central hub for health technology innovation, seeks a Program Coordinator to join our team and advance healthcare solutions. Job Description

Penn Health-Tech (PHT), the University of Pennsylvania's central hub for health technology innovation, is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our team and our mission to empower innovators and to advance health care solutions. Since 2017, has served as an engine for translating discoveries into high-impact health technologies, accelerating the path from academic innovation to real-world impact. PHT supports and delivers programs to clinicians, engineers, and researchers across the innovation ecosystem to accelerate the development of transformative healthcare solutions through funding, mentorship, and education.

PHT has four strategic priorities: (1) Advance health technology innovation by focusing on identifying, supporting, and accelerating promising health technology innovations from Penn and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). (2) Develop health technology innovators by equipping faculty, trainees, students, and emerging operators with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to advance healthcare innovation. (3) Strengthen the innovation ecosystem by cultivating relationships, partnerships, and community engagement and demonstrating thought leadership in order to accelerate innovation and increase Penn Health-Tech's visibility and impact. (4) Build organizational infrastructure for sustainable growth by developing the people, processes, systems, and resources required to support Penn Health-Tech's continued growth and long-term impact.

The Program Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of PHT's programming, supporting the planning, execution, and follow-up of activities across the PHT's portfolio of programs and events. In this capacity, the Program Coordinator manages logistics for recurring programs and events, handles outreach and scheduling with speakers and advisors, supports applicant-facing processes for recruitment and the Call for Proposals cycle, and collects and organizes data across programs to support annual reporting. This role requires strong organizational skills, genuine interest in healthcare innovation, and the ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The position works closely with the Associate Director of Education and Operations and Penn Health-Tech staff to contribute to consistent delivery of healthcare innovation initiatives and events across PHT, Penn, CHOP, and other partner organizations, and supports PHT's mission.
