Job summary

The University of South Carolina is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the College of Pharmacy’s Development team. Under general supervision, the role supports fundraising and alumni relations, performs gift processing, deposits, scholarship awards, and related reports, and collaborates with donors and volunteers on outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone calls and draft, proofread, and mail correspondence and other printed materials.
  • Monitor and prepare weekly revenue reports and process deposits.
  • Assist with travel plans and preparation; process reimbursements and track expenditures.
  • Monitor departmental budget and deadlines; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Coordinate stewardship plans for assigned donors and support college outreach and events.

Advertised Job Summary

The College of Pharmacy is seeking to hire a Program Coordinator to join our Development team. Under general supervision, reporting to the Senior Development for the College of Pharmacy, the Program Coordinator performs diverse responsibilities in support of the College of Pharmacy’s fundraising and alumni relations initiatives. Performs clerical/administrative responsibilities related to gift processing, correspondence, deposits, gift agreements, scholarship awards, travel preparation, processing reimbursements and other duties as assigned. Provides ongoing support of the Senior Director of Development with a focus on prospect identification and research and preparing related reports from prospect management system. Coordinates stewardship plans for an assigned portfolio of donors and coordinates related stewardship projects and events. Supports a variety of special events throughout the year to include meetings, receptions and dinners. Works in tandem with donors and volunteers on college outreach and development initiatives.

  • Familiarity with the University of South Carolina campus community, organizational structure, and administrative processes .
