Job description

The Program Coordinator is a temporary, entry level position that provides logistical, programmatic, and student support for the New Mexico Simon Scholars Program team. The ideal candidate is an early career professional comfortable working with youth in a mentoring and instructional capacity. This position is intended to provide the employee with up to 3 years of basic professional development and specific experience in program delivery, event production, and constituent support.

Additional Areas of Responsibility

Join our work supporting the bright, passionate, diligent students of the New Mexico Simon Scholars Program. You’ll play a key role on their journey to a college degree by overseeing a variety of activities including tutoring, retreats in nature, college tours, and celebratory banquets. Witnessing the growth of these remarkable young people from high school through college is a reward like none other.

Other Information / Requirements
  • This position is based in Santa Fe
  • Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, humanities, or business
  • Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Must clear a background check
