Major/Essential Functions
  • Adheres to TTUHSC and office operating policies andprocedures.
  • Assist in meeting the Joint Accreditation defined EducationalLeadership criterion by partaking in continuous professionaldevelopment relevant to CME/CPD enterprise.
  • Serves as a representative of the office at the Odessacampus.
  • Ensure timely communication and reporting of regional CMEactivities to the Lubbock campus.
  • Implements educational activities at the regional campus usingan interprofessional approach that addresses a defined professionalpractice gap. Follows the processes and standards set by theLubbock campus to ensure compliance with Joint Accreditationcriteria. Collaborates with course directors, planners, andpresenters while maintaining regular communication with the Lubbockoffice to ensure consistency in educational design, documentation,and delivery.
  • Prepares and maintains all required activity documentation anddepartmental records in compliance with institutional andaccreditation standards. Ensures that forms, disclosures,evaluations, and supporting materials are completed accurately andsubmitted to the Lubbock campus within established deadlines.
  • Manages on-site logistics for Odessa-based accreditedcontinuing education activities. Oversees room setup, audiovisualsupport, materials preparation, and on-site execution to ensure aprofessional and compliant learning environment.
  • Concludes educational activities at the Odessa campus inaccordance with the fiscal, documentation, and reporting processesestablished by the Lubbock CME office. Responsible for completingfinancial closeout, evaluation summaries, and final CME Trackerentry.
  • Supports identification and assessment of continuing educationneeds for institutional departments at the Odessa campus, inalignment with processes established by the Lubbock CME office.Collaborates with local faculty and staff to gather input oneducational gaps and communicates findings to the Lubbock team foractivity planning and documentation.
  • Implements outcomes measurement strategies for Odessa-basedcontinuing education activities using survey tools and evaluationmethods developed or approved by the Lubbock CME office.Collaborates with Lubbock staff to ensure consistency, compliance,and meaningful data collection.
  • Supports the maintenance of CloudCME and related reportingrequirements for Odessa-based educational activities. Followsprotocols established by the Lubbock CME office for data entry,evaluation tracking, and activity credit documentation to ensurealignment with Joint Accreditation and institutionalstandards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the operations ofthe Odessa campus in coordination with the Lubbock CME office.
