Join to apply for the Program Coordinator role at Lakeland Hills Family YMCA

Responsible for the set up, facilitation, and breakdown of Morning Rotation activities with the support of counselors. Areas of concentration include art, environmental science, STEM, archery, and field games. Additional duties include lunch supervision, patrol, inventory management, organization of supplies, and assisting with camper drop-off in the morning.

Timeframe: June 23 – August 15, 2025 (no camp on July 4)

Hours: 7:45am-12:45pm

Essential Functions
  • Execute engaging and exciting activities.
  • Implement culturally relevant, developmentally appropriate program activities aligned with YMCA values.
  • Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention, and emergencies.
  • Demonstrate relationship-building skills in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Prepare for rain days with engaging activities and support Activity Leaders.
Qualities
  • Enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, consistent, level-headed, flexible, and calm in all situations.
  • Assist children in developing character, experiences, and insights.
  • Prioritize the health and well-being of campers.
  • Sustain energy for a full day of activities.
Qualifications
